Obituary of Ralph Scazafabo

Ralph Scazafabo, 62, of Millville went to Heaven on July 24, 2011 after a four year battle with cancer. Ralph was born in Lackawanna, NY. He graduated from Lackawanna High School; after graduating then went on to receive his B.A. in education, M.S. in education, Ed. Administration Certificate of Advanced Studies, and his N.J. School Business Administrator Certificate. For the past 13 years Ralph worked as Superintendent of schools for Myron L. Powell Elementary School. Prior to that he worked as Principal at Roberts Elementary School in Moorestown, NJ, where they received the Presidential Blue Ribbon Award of Excellence under Ralph's leadership. Ralph was also a member of the Kiwanis's Club in New York State. Ralph was loved and cared for by his fiance, Joyce Laquitara. He is survived by his mother, Charlotte (Bednash) Scazafabo; fiance Joyce Laquitara, Millville, NJ; son, Garth Benjamin; daughter, Erin Tamaino; daughter, Briana Scazafabo; daughter, Rue Scazafabo; son, Raphael Scazafabo; sister, Deborah Weaver; grandchildren Joshua & Zachariah Tomaino; Alyssa & Caleb Benjamin; Demetrius Ortiz; Lucious & Isabella Rodriguez; and Everett & Savannah Ryan; nieces, Tracy & KerriAnn Weaver; Aunts & Uncles; Ralph is predeceased by his father, Ralph J. Scazafabo. A Funeral Home Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6pm to 8pm followed by a Memorial Service at 8:00 pm at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will take place in Lakeside Memorial Cemetery, Hamburg, NY.
