Obituary of Lea Mancini

Lea Mancini, 82, of Vineland, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012 surrounded by her loving family in her home after a lenghty illness. Lea was born October 21, 1929 in Lettomanopella, Italy in the province of Pescara, to the late Rocco & Sandra Terzini. Lea and her late husband Alfonso immigrated to Vineland from Italy in September 1957, where they resided together with their four children. lea was a talented seamstress who did alterations for many clients. Lea was also a Home Economics instructor at Sacred heart High School for 15 years. Her greatest passion was caring for her family and cooking homemade specialties for their many friends that frequented their home. She was famous for her "homemade" pizza Friday parties. Lea took great pride in her later years doting on her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Nonni leaves behind her great strenght and determination in the face of adversity. She will be forever missed by her family, but we are happy to know that she has been reunited with her husband of 60 years, Alfonso , who passed away in June of 2011.
