Dear Mr Catalano, I never had the pleasure of meeting you but I was fortunate to have known Linda. I met her years ago when my Mother, Mildred Darmstadter was her supervisor at Prudential. I got to know her when she was the director of the SPCA. What a kind, thoughtful, wonderful & generous woman. She always had time to talk to me. She helped me get through some very trying times with my dogs. I will greatly miss her. My prayers are with you

To James Catalano, I worked with Linda at the CCSPCA for several years through the 1980s, although you probably do not remember me. I've since moved out of the area and haven't seen Linda for many years, but I remember her strong, vibrant presence. She was someone whose compassion, warmth, and joy made a lasting impression upon me. I remember her with great fondness and am saddened to hear that she has passed away. My prayers and deepest sympathy go out to you in your time of sorrow.

I'll always remember walking down the beach in Brigantine and running into Linda and Jimmy. She looked like a brown coconut. I'll never forget her smile. My heart is very sad. God bless you. Love Sandra (Bobby's friend)

I cannot believe Linda is gone. Stunned to see yesterday's paper. An amazing lady I am happy to have known and worked with when I was an SPCA volunteer. The world has lost a special person. She helped me so much with the difficult rescue lady when getting my new Shpeherd, and willingly spent her time to help. I will always be grateful for that. Bless you Linda. Godspeed.

As a child I would ride my bike to the SPCA on Sherman Ave. and would always see Linda with her big smile saying hello. Even though I was a kid she never turned me away. She took the time with her animals and you could see the compassion and love for them and life in her eyes. She was a remarkable woman and heaven is a better place with her. While we mourn her passing we are honored by her life,I belive that my love for animals was made stronger by Linda and truly I can say that she not only touched my life she left her imprint in my heart, especially that smile. R.I.P my friend

Although we only met and talked a few times, I will remember Linda as a kind and dedicated indivdual who's primary focus was improving the lives of the animals in her care. I am truly saddened by the news of her passing. I'm certain she now is crossing the rainbow bridge...

Jimmy, We are so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. She was truly a very special person and will be sorely missed by all who knew her, including the animals. In working with Linda for many years, I felt I could talk with her about anything and she would offer sound advice to me. I am not alone in that feeling, she left paw prints on many hearts. Our prayers are with you. Darlene & Brian Asselta
