Obituary of Adelina Russo

Adelina "Lee" Russo, 81, of Vineland passed away Sunday evening after a brief illness. She was born in Vineland and lived there most of her life before moving to Minotola. She attended art school in NYC. Lee worked many years for Model Coat Co. and was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Union. She worked for 18 years in the housekeeping department at Newcomb Medical Center brightening the days of many patients. She was a member of Queen of Angels Parish, St. Michael's Church in Minotola. Lee enjoyed spending time with and cooking for her family, especially her famous raviolis, cavatelli, and baking her delicious cream puffs. She enjoyed playing cards, attending dances, and visiting the casinos with her sister Mary and many friends. In later years, she enjoyed spending time watching gameshows, crocheting, and word puzzles. She was a kind loving mother and grandmother who centered her life around her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
