Obituary of Helen Ricciardi

Helen May (Miller) "Farabella" Ricciardi passed away peacefully on January 25, 2012 at South Jersey Regional Medical Center with her loving family at her bedside. Born and raised in Atlantic City, NJ, Helen later moved to Millville in the mid 60's. While living in Millville, Helen worked as a healthcare aide. She provided in-home and overnight health services to many individuals and families, giving them peace and comfort while caring for their loved ones. She later retired to care for and spend time with her husband Joseph Farabella, who was battling lung cancer. Joe preceded her in death in 1991. Helen enjoyed feeding and watching the hummingbirds, playing card games, telling jokes, attending church services and staying up to date by watching her favorite news programs, but mostly she enjoyed spending time being surrounded by her family. She was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, wife, aunt and friend. She is lovingly survived by her son and his fiancée Jody Farabella and Kristi Abel, Millville, daughter, Linda (Naylor) Doucett Hayes and her husband Dale, Bridgeton, grandson, Chase Farabella, Millville, grandson and his wife, Gene and Darlene Rarey, Stow Creek, grandson, Mark Rarey, Columbus, OH, grandson, Joe Rarey, Pennsville, grandson and wife, Shawn and Betty Huff, Stow Creek, grandsons, Jason Johnson, Mays Landing, and Michael Naylor, Bridgeton. She has seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Farabella in 1991, son, Fred Naylor and step-son, Terry Farabella.
