Obituary of Robert T Raymond

Robert Thomas Raymond, 85, of Vineland passed away at South Jersey Healthcare Hospice Care in Bridgeton on August 2, 2012. Robert joined the U.S. Navy in 1945, serving as a Seaman Second Class, he was dicharged in 1946. Robert owned and operated Spudnut Bakery in Vineland for over 25 years. For the past 12 years he has been employed with Lighthouse of Mays Landing, he loved his job and will miss all his friends there.. Robert was an excellent baker and chef. He loved fine food, a good bottle of wine, a convertible and good company. He was a mentor to many, having a very charitable soul, sponsoring medical aid to foreign children and those around him. He could always be counted on to lend an ear, hand or dollar if needed. Robert was a proud grandfather, his greatest joy in life was his grandchildren and the incredible relationship they all had with him.
