Obituary of Jackson M Pruitt Sr.

Jackson "Jack" Pruitt Sr. 70 of Vineland passed away on Friday October 19, 2012 in the Bishop McCarthy Residence in Vineland after a three year battle of illness. Jack was a United States Navy veteran, surving aboard the U.S.S. York County, holding the rank of SR E-1. He was an active member of the American Legion until his illness. Jack is survived by two sisters: Gaye Lalli of Vineland with whom he resided until his illness, June Clark and her husband Doug also of Vineland. Two brothers: Donald Pruitt of Washington, and Terry Pruitt of Florida. Also surviving are his grandson Brandon, and many nieces and nephews. Jack is predeceased by his son Jackson (Jackie) Pruitt Jr,. his parents and several brothers and sisters.
