Obituary of Helen Poggioli

Helen Elizabeth (Pagluighi) Poggioli, 90, of East Vineland passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2009 peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Dorothy to the late Frank and Elizabeth (Kobash) Pagluighi. Helen was a 1937 graduate of Vineland High Schoool. Helen, her husband, Giacomo Francesco Poggioli "Frank" and his family opened the Savoy Inn Restaurant in East Vineland and started a canning business that sold pesto and tomato sauce across the country.She was a member of St. Padre Pio Parish. She enjoyed horseback riding, sewing, watching cooking shows, gardening, cooking and rasing her family. Helen loved all animals especially Boxer dogs and her most recent dog, Bella. She was a devoted Mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and neighbor.
