Obituary of Janice M. Peroni

Janice M. Peroni, 64, a gifted painter and photographer of Richland, New Jersey, died Friday surrounded by her family and friends. She was a graduate of Vineland High School. Following an auto accident in 1965 which resulted in quadriplegia, Janice was introduced to art through her therapy. She obtained a Bachelor's degree from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, and became an accomplished artist known best for her watercolors and photography. She received many awards and achievements throughout her career. Janice was predeceased by her parents Josephine (Travaglia) and Peter Peroni and is survived by her aunts, Rose Stampa and Alice Dell'Aringa and the families Boyle, Callari, Dandrea, DeRossi, DiPrimio, Giannascoli, Hallenbeck, Higgins, Kirsh, Mahoney, Mazzoli, Mazzoni, Petrini, Renart, Reilly, Seibert, and Woolf. Family members would like to extend a special thank you to all of Jan's caregivers for their daily care and assistance. Those who knew Jan marveled at her ability to embrace life, find new paths for self-expression, and make every moment count. Her strength and courage will always be inspirational, and she remains a precious treasure to her family and friends.
