Obituary of Samuel C. Panzino Jr.

Samuel C. Panzino Jr., 74, passed away Monday, January 14, 2008, in Fox Chase Medical Center. Born in Kul mOunt, PA to Samuel C. & Mary Francis (Nager) Panzino Sr., he was a long time area resident. He was a US Army veteran. Sam was a driver/salesman for Bishop Distribution Company, later known as Zucca Distribution . Afteer his retirement in 1991, he worked for Wrights Liquor Store in Malaga. He was very involved for many years with the Little League at Fiocchi Field, serving in many capacities; umpire, coaching and especially pushing to keep the league and playing fields going and was awarded a Hall of Fame Plaque in 1991. Sam enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards with family members and friends and going to the casinos. He was an avid gardener. He was a member of Sacred Heart Parish. Most of all, Sam enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
