Obituary of William James McKee

William James McKee, 66,of Vineland, died suddenly on Sunday Feb 10. Born in Star Cross, NJ, he resided in Vineland for the past 13 years. He was an active union member for over 30 years. He served many positions in Local Union 701 including serving as vice president for 5 years and president for 5 years before his retirement 9 years ago from Kimble Glass. William had been employed there for over 40 years as a glass tooler. He was a member of Centerton, Buena, and Cohanzick Country Clubs. He was also a member of the American Legion He was an avid golfer and proudly achieved a USGA 5 handicap. Golf was his passion. At any given time he could be found on the golf course practicing his game. William enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and he had a special bond with his dog, Shadow. He loved all sports and was a dedicated Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
