Obituary of Leon Mazzochi

Leon J. Mazzochi, passed away Friday evening at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Born in Vineland, he was a lifelong resident. Leon graduated from Sacred Heart High School, he then joined the New Jersey National Guard. Leon then started full time employment in the office supply and furniture industry. For the past 36 years, Leon was the owner and operator of Executive Business Products in Vineland. A seasond corporate executive, he utilized his communication, leadership and management skills to always help both peers and employees. Leon has won many awards in the field of office design. Among them is the Rowan University Award for the design creation of the Graduate Resource Center. Leon has served many church, civic and business organizations: Bishop McCarthy Residence; Past president of the Vineland Fire Department; Past Chairman of The Easter Seals Society; Past secretary of The Vineland Exchange Club; Chaired The Education Committee of the Vineland Chamber of Commerce and the Johnstone PTA. A member of the CEO group and former member of The South Jersey Businessman Association. He was distinguishably honored with The Gregor Mendel Award from St. Augustine Preparatory School, and The Italian American Heritage Cultural Society Award.
