Obituary of Thomas Mascara

A gentle smile, a robust laugh, a heart of goodness, a loving spirit; Tom Mascara left us suddenly on June 19, 2011. Son of the late Dr. Gaetano and Claire Mascara, Tom was born in New York City and raised in Vineland. A student of Sacred Heart Grammar School, Tom was also a graduate of Bordentown Military Institute. While in New Jersey, Tom was Eastern Regional Director of Red Rose Iced Tea. Tom lived in Florida for the last 23 years. He was Senior Vice President of Powertron Global of Texas. His dear brothers survive him: Ernest and Marie Mascara, Tony and Judi Mascara, and a lifetime of loving friends. Beloved by his niece and nephews: Vincent Mascara, Marisa and Brian Johns, Tony and Andrea Mascara. His dear nephew Michael John Mascara recently predeceased Tom. Tom's grand nieces and nephews missing him dearly: Naomi and Parker Johns, and Madison and Macie Mascara. The Dale-Gunter Funeral Home, 4100 16th St. North, St. Petersburg, will conduct funeral Services in Florida Wednesday, July 13 at 4 PM. www.gunterfuneralhome.com In addition to a Funeral Service in Florida, our family will conduct a Memorial Mass for Tom Friday, July 22, 12 NOON at St. Isidore's R.C. Church, 1655 Magnolia Rd. Vineland. Visitation will take place at the church from 9am to 12 Noon, under the direction of Rone Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
