Obituary of John Joseph Lynch
John "Jack" Lynch, 82 of Mays Landing and formerly of Vineland, passed away on December 15, 2012 at AtlanticCare Mainland Division. Jack was a first class auto mechanic, specializing in trouble shooting and repairing of electrical systems in automobiles. He was a staff sargeant in the US Air Force , serving from 1952 to 1954 as a jet engine specialist in the maintenence squad. Jack was the well know stock car driver of "1 Jr." thru out the South Jersey and Delaware circuit, (ie. Jackie Lynch), winning the Sportsman Champ of Vineland Award in 1957. He was well known and loved by everyone who knew him, generous, kind, good hearted, adventurous, fun loving and ready to help anyone in need at any moment. he loved to watch NASCAR, fishing and boating, but most of all he worshipped his family and his grandchildren; Bobby, Jennifer and Kathryn. After retiring, he moved to Mays Landing with his daughter Sharon and son-in-law Chris because he loved living in the woods.
