John prepared my taxes for the last six years. He will always be in my heart, he was a true friend and gentlemen. We often spoke of Tennessee and Nasville. I saw him a month ago and we talked about my family moving to TN. I have moved to Tn now only to hear this terrible news. He surely will be missed, God bless

I just found out today about John's sudden death when I called H & R Block for an appointment with him. John prepared my taxes for years and I considered him a friend. There are no words to describe how I felt when I heard the very, very sad news. He was the epitomy of a "Gentleman."

We just heard today when Bob called to set up a dinner date for the four of us. What a shock. Bob phoned me at work in tears. We met John 5 years ago when he did our taxes and John and Bob just clicked. What a kind soul and an enormous heart. He's up with the angels, gardening and coaching baseball and swimming, and he's probably glad there's no tax season there. He will be missed down here, that's for sure!

I had the honor of serving on the Board at BAFCU with John for a number of years. He was young at heart, and had a big heart! I knew him to be a very intelligent and dedicated family man. He truly cared about people and loved life. I offer my sincerest sympathy to his family and to his credit union family. I know he will be missed. God’s Speed John.

My favorite memory of Dave and Mr. Lisi is the night Dave and a bunch of our friends got stuck off roading in their trucks. Dave and Tommy Till had to walk a couple of miles to a pay phone to call me to try to help get them out (this was about 11pm). As I remember we weren't too sure what to do so Dave called his Dad. We ended up pickup Mr. Lisi and digging Daves truck and Tara's truck (Tommy's girlfriend at the time) until 3 or 4 in the morning. Mr. Lisi wasn't to happy about the situation but I will always rememeber how he slowly exhaled and got us to work pulling everyone out. (I can't speak to what he said to Dave later though ;-). I often think of this story when my boys get into mayhem. I can only hope to show the same patience and care Mr. Lisi so often displayed.

I met Mr Lisi a few years ago when he started to do my taxes through H&R Block. What a very nice friendly man. I remember last year while doing our taxes, I believe his son's wife was in labor and he got the call while we were sitting there. He was so excited and talked highly of his family. He seemed proud of all of you. I only know Mr. Lisi through getting my taxes done but in that short period of time spent with him, the joy he had just knowing his grandchild was going to be born at any time, touched my heart. God blessed you with a wonderful father, husband, grandfather, brother, ect. My prayers are with you, praying the Lord will comfort you during this difficult time. God Bless you all! We don't always understand God's will but we must trust im always!

Wayne grew up in John's neighborhood and we got to talk with him last year when he did our taxes. We found him to be so honest, nice and so competent and had decided, we would continue going to John the next year. The night we picked up our papers, we brought my mother in law, Wayne's Mom Viola, and they had a nice talk about his parents and all the folks in Newfield that they knew from years ago. We felt so sad when we heard the news of his passing, we were upset all day. My son, Keith Squires, knew him from renting his parents homestead, some years ago. He was also very upset when he heard this sad news. We all send our condolenses to you and your whole family. He will be missed very much. God Bless you and help you thru this valley of tears. Sarah Jane and Wayne Fusinatti and Keith and Kimberley Squires and families.

A terrible loss. John was a great guy to work for and a true, caring friend. He was my mentor and always cared about my family and me. John was a true professional, and I respected him for that. I will miss him the rest of my life, and will cherish the memories. Things like flag football between the engineering departments, water skiing on Lake Lenape, monthly “crabs & spaghetti at Brassi’s,, tomatoes & peppers in his garden, and Blackjack for breakfast in A.C. at my bachelor’s party. John, in a way, was part of my close family. I am devastated, yet fortunate for him to have helped guide my life.
