Aunt Lois,
I pray for your safe and peaceful transition. I remember you fondly and was always struck by your transparency and honesty which continued to right before your death when you directly told me that you were done living and wished me love as well as for my mother (your sister Katie) and her husband Tom. The last 3 words I said in my facebook messenger to you I say again: I love you,

I was so saddened to hear of Lois's passing. I have know her for over 20 years. We worked out together at Sport and Health and she was such an inspiration to me. She introduced me to deep water workout, which I still do. She shared so much of her life with me. Her marriage, her children and granddaughter. I helped her rent her home when she moved to Florida and when I found out she was back in Maryland we chatted on the phone. I spoke with her a month ago and we were going to get together for lunch. I am so sad I didn't get a chance to do that. I pray that she is now painfree and in eternal peace. She was a good friend and I am thankful to have had her in my life. Rest well my friend.

Lois was a great friend ,she introduced me to a wonderful group of women and we all bonded as a Mahjongg family. She has been missed since she moved but never forgotten. We always looked forward to her visits. I will always be grateful for her friendship.

Playing MahJongg weekly with Lois was a treat. I loved her dry humor, her stories and her kindness. She'll be remembered and missed by all who knew her.

Lois' many friends at Asbury were saddened to learn that she has passed away. When she moved here she had some health challenges but never complained or spoke of them. If asked, her answer was always "I'm fine" She just forged ahead.
Although at times it was difficult for her, she regularly came down to the dining room for dinners. She was welcomed at many tables. She was always a nice addition to the group table with interesting comments and stories. She was also an enjoyable partner at Rummikub and often won the game. The Bingo games were also one of her enjoyable pastimes.
Since her apartment was on the ground floor she was able to have a bird feeder and enjoy watching the birds. It was a challenge for her to devise ways to keep the squirrels away from the feeder.
We will miss her but know she is at peace and free from pain and suffering
