Hector A. Gonzalez, 77, of Utuado, Puerto Rico, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2024, surrounded by the love of his wife Sylvia, family, and friends. A devoted husband, father, brother, son, and friend, Hector's life was a beautiful testament to love, faith, and service. Hector is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Sylvia Gonzalez and his children, Christian, Elizabeth, Erica, Dominic, Griselle, Sandy, Hector Jr, Jose and Marisol. He also leaves behind many grandchildren and great- grandchildren who will carry his legacy of love. Born on November 27, 1946, in Utuado, Puerto Rico, Hector's humble beginnings shaped his deep faith and generous spirit. A man of God, Hector lived by the words of John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." His unwavering faith inspired everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Hector was a man who gave his all to those he loved. Whether cooking a meal, tending to his animals, or crafting flower arrangements for Sylvia from their garden, Hector poured his heart into every act of service. His willingness to help anyone in need defined his character. He was never too busy to lend a hand, always putting others before himself with a smile and an open heart. Hector found joy in life's simple pleasures. He cherished the outdoors, tending to his garden, feeding his animals, and strolling through yard sales and antique auctions. A skilled pool player, Hector loved competing in tournaments, and he never missed a day trying his luck with the lottery. No matter the activity, he approached it with passion and humility. He and Sylvia shared a bond that was the heart of his life. Whether they were cooking together, taking long drives, or simply holding hands in their yard, their love was a daily celebration of life's blessings. Hector loved Sylvia deeply and unconditionally, cherishing every moment they spent together. Hector's memory will forever live in the hearts of those who knew him. His faith, humor, and boundless generosity leaves a legacy that will continue to inspire and uplift those he touched. Service Information Hector A.
