14 years ago while I was a freshman at Kean University. I went to a men’s basketball practice to hangout and see if I wanted to be a manager. While at that practice I saw Andrew dunk. It was an awesome experience meet all of the players and coaches. But during that season when I decided to be a manager Andrew and I became best friends and grew as brothers and family. Later that year I had the pleasure to meet his father Nick Kirey. He welcomed me with open arms and treated me like I was his own son. The memories I have from Andrew’s bachelor party and going to Madison Square Garden with Andrew and Nick are memories I will cherish forever. I remember him trying to get me a job with the Duke Basketball staff and the Kentucky Basketball staff at the game and him holding court with the basketball staffs from both schools. I also remember the three of us trying to go to Hooters but it was closed. THANKS COVID. I will miss you Mr. Kirey. Thank you for welcoming me into your family.
