Obituary of George J. Cooper

George John Cooper, Sr., 91, of Millville, NJ, passed away on April 1, 2024. He was born in 1933 in New York to the late Florence and Lawrence Cooper. George proudly served as a Chief Master Sergeant in the US Airforce from 1950 until 1971. He was also a member of the VFW, Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge, Firebase NAM, Eagles Club, Cumberland Rifle Association and Rec Club. He also served as a Mason Shriner and Constable in the Blue Knights. George was loved by many. He is survived by his wife, Nina (Vaughn) Cooper; his sons, George J. Cooper, Jr. and David Allan Cooper; his grandchildren, Samuel Cooper, Megan Cooper and Charles Cooper and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Richard Lawrence Cooper and his grandson, John Raymond Cooper. A funeral home visitation will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024 from 9:00am to 11:00am followed by a service at 11:00am at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland.
