Obituary of Sanders Irwin Spiegel

Sanders "Sandy" Irwin Spiegel, 90, of Vineland, NJ, passed away on February 16, 2024. Sandy was born in Vineland on November 10, 1933, where he remained a lifelong resident. He graduated from Vineland High School in 1951 and owned Brad's Liquor Mart (formerly Spiegel's Liquor Store) for over 40 years until selling the business in 2000. Sandy loved his family, enjoyed watching sports and rooting for the underdog, and he took pride in his yard. He also had a great sense of humor and was interested in politics. Sandy was the husband of the late Marilyn Nan Mozenter Spiegel, and is survived by his daughters, Shelly Spiegel of Philadelphia, PA, Terry Thal (Richard) of Downingtown, PA, and Jamie Levick of Broomall, PA, and his son, Brad Spiegel (Ellen) of Malvern, PA; as well as by four grandchildren, Benjamin Spiegel, William Spiegel, Olivia Levick, and Harrison Levick. Additionally, Sandy is survived by two grandcats and five granddogs, among them his namesake, an adorable toy poodle named Irwin Sanders Spiegel, who held a special place in Sandy's heart. He is also survived by his former wife and the mother of his children, Andrea Stern, of Newtown Square, PA. Sandy was predeceased by his parents, Lillian and Harry Spiegel. A graveside service and will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 11:00 am at Alliance Cemetery, 970 Gershal Ave, Norma, NJ.
