Good Afternoon,
I was reading another obituary when I came across the obituary of your loved one.
You don't know me, but my name is Diana, and I just wanted to share some words of encouragement with you and your loved ones which hopefully may bring your family some comfort.
When a loved one dies, especially when we think their life was cut short, we may ask ourselves many questions such as, where our loved one is? Perhaps, we may even wonder if we will ever see them again.
Acts 24:15 gives us hope in regards to this, it states:
“ And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.”
Jehovah God promises and gives us this hope, that he will bring our loved ones back to life in a healthy state here on earth in the near future. Knowing this helps us have a real hope that one day there is a possibility of being reunited with our loved one who have passed away. This promise is emphasized again in John 5:28, 29: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out...”
Reading these and other biblical texts can help us cope with grief and could help us have hope and faith in what is to come in the near future.
