Obituary of Richard H DeMarco
Richard H. DeMarco, 82, left on his final adventure from Landisville, NJ on February 5th 2024. He was born in the winter on December 21st 1941 in Clayton, NJ. Richard warmed the hearts of those around him throughout his life.
Leaving behind lots of cherished memories, Richard's life was narrated with love by his wife Larraine DeMarco; his son and daughter in-law Richard and Lisa DeMarco; his son Wilbert Cox and his grandchildren Taylor and Gabriel DeMarco. He was predeceased by his father and mother Henry and Ellen DeMarco.
Richard was employed by the IBEW L.U. 351 (formally 592) as a Union Electrician for 28 years in which he was a member of the union for 55 years. He served in the Navy for a brief time. He also worked at Kimble Glass before becoming an electrician.
His favorite hobby was eating! He cherished family dinners during Thanksgiving and Christmas. His favorite meal was tortellini soup. He loved having lunch with his friends at Angie's Diner in Buena. Richard loved to go fishing with his friend Pete Bonanno. He loved going to the retiree's breakfast with his friends from local 592. His grandchildren Taylor and Gabriel were the light of his life.
Richard was the Landisville Fire Commissioner for a few years and was deeply involved with others in the fight to keep the Landisville Fire Department open.

It was often said that he knew everyone in town and always engaged in conversation with everyone. Richard DeMarco will be dearly missed, but not forgotten!
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 10am to12pm at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ
