To Donna, Anthony and all of the Scarpa family, We are were shocked and saddened to hear of Richard's sudden passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. We were planning on paying our respects in person today but unfortunately both myself and brother in law both became ill. Richard was not only a classmate of mine pretty much all through school but was part of a close neighborhood on Oak Rd. that we all shared! We all were close in age and grew up in a time where neighbors were like family and families lived next to each other and visited each others houses freely. Richard always had a smile and our conversations were always pleasant. As time and circumstances have brought us all in different places and in my case back to Oak Rd., I pray that we will all keep those memories of growing up with Richard and his family on Oak Rd and look back and smile! My condolences on your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Richard Scarpa. I remember Rich from high school (VHS class of 1972).
