Paulette was a grand-daughter of Russian immigrants looking for a better life. As her father Sam, told the story, their new neighbors in Pittsgrove helped them get settled and they, in turn, helped others get settled. Even though they spoke a different language and had different customs, all of them became valuable members of the community.
