Obituary of Marlene Favoretto

Marlene Favoretto, a life long resident of Vineland, passed away peacefully on Friday. Marlene was loving wife to Jack Favoretto and they were married for over 65 years. Jack was the absolute love of her life. The world lost him in 2021. She was the daughter of the late Floyd and Elsie Pooley and sister to the late Kathleen and Wayne Pooley, daughter in law to the late Sireno and Cecelia Favoretto. Marlene's life was devoted entirely to her children, grandchildren and great granddaughter. Being a strong, loving caring person, Marlene survived and conquered breast cancer almost 40 years ago and overcame every obstacle that was thrown at her. She is survived by her children Rita Broomell (Billy), Brenda Micheletti (Pete), Jack Favoretto Jr (Connie), and Gino Favoretto, Her grandchildren Bambi Lee Favoretto (Cody), Nicholas Favoretto (Melissa), William Robbie Broomell III, Gino Favoretto Jr, and Bobby Favoretto and her biggest joy, her great granddaughter Justice Jackie Favoretto Welch, her sister in-laws Carol Olszewski and Joanne Buckalew. She is also survived by her niece and nephews who she held so dear to her heart, Frank Locicero Jr., Tommy, Richie and Brandy Olszewski, Johnny and Brian Buckalew and extended family and life long friends. Marlene was predeceased by her husband Jack, niece Stacy Buckalew, brother-in law Sireno "Boinky" Favoretto; her sister-in law Jaqueline Locicero, and her precious son-in-law Peter Micheletti. Marlene's life was spent living and working in Vineland. Working everyday and still always enjoying all the precious time she had with her family. She loved Sunday dinners and all the special holidays, birthdays and times she had with her husband, her parents, children, grand children and family. She will be deeply missed but we all should find peace that she is back with Jackie in his loving embrace, together again and forever.
