Obituary of Carmen Torres Martinez

Carmen Torres-Martinez, 60, of Vineland passed away peacefully on September 9, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. Carmen moved to Vineland in 1990. She was a volunteer for the Salvation Army and also for local After School Programs. Carmen was very active in the church and she loved dancing and cooking. She is survived by her son, Juan Ortiz; daughter, Jessica Alvarado; brothers, Hermogenes, Juan, Jose, Santiago & Benito Torres; sisters, Secundia Torres Martinez, & Francisca Torres Martinez and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Carmen was predeceased by her son, Ezequiel Ortiz; parents, Francisco & Blasina Torres and her brother, Raul Torres. A funeral home visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 10am to 12pm followed by a funeral service at 12pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
