Obituary of Mark D'Italia

Mark D'Italia, 58, of Vineland passed away on May 9, 2023 at home. He was born in Camden to the late Pasquale and Mary (DiPaola) D'Italia. The family moved to Vineland when Mark was just four years old. Mark graduated from Vineland High School in 1983. He went to locksmith school in New York and worked with his father in the family business Pro Lock for 10 years. He went on to work for Fiber Tech, JC Penney and Buona Vita before becoming a locksmith for the Vineland Board of Education where he worked for over 27 years before retiring in 2022. Mark was beloved by all his colleagues, teachers, principals, students and friends. He was an avid animal lover for well over 30 years. He enjoyed playing softball and loved all sports especially the Eagles, he was a super fan. He loved all kinds of music especially the Beatles and country music where he and Lina attended many concerts together. Mark was a parishioner at Christ The Good Shepherd Parish - Church of St. Isidore's where he also was a former usher. He is survived by his wife, Lina (D'Angelo) D'Italia; sister & brother-in-law, Rosemarie & John Trombetta; brother & sister-in-law, Pasquale & Barbara D'Italia; nephew & his wife, Pete & Susan Trombetta and their 3 children; niece & her husband, Maryanne & Mark Errichetti and their 2 children; his mother-in-law, Edda D'Angelo and his beloved furbaby Bandit. Along with his parents Mark was predeceased by his brother, Louis D'Italia and his father-in-law Gino D'Angelo. A church visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 10:45am to 12:45pm followed by a funeral mass at 1pm from Christ The Good Shepherd Parish - Church Of Saint Isidore The Farmer, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
