Obituary of Thomas Santucci

Thomas G. "Gravy" Santucci 84 of Norma, NJ passed away January 19th at Inspira Vineland Medical Center, Vineland NJ. Thomas was born in Pennsgrove, NJ to the late Thomas and Emma Santucci on January 22, 1938. He graduated from Salesianum High School, Wilmington, Delaware in 1955 with a Diploma College Preparatory. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force until he was honorably discharged in 1959, following his honorable discharge he attended Salem County Vocational/Technical School where he received a Diploma in Basic Electronics in 1963. Thomas over the years worked as a Sheet Metal Mechanic/Engineer for Airframe and industrial Manufacturers. He worked as the VP of Plant Operations for Sunroc in Glenn Riddle Pa, from 1976 until he retired in 1996. Thomas enjoyed motorcycles, antique cars and hot rods. He was loved by all and he will be greatly missed. He was kind and generous and he influenced everyone around him in a meaningful and family oriented way. Thomas is survived by his son's Ronald "John" Manno and Joseph Salvatore Manno; daughters-in-laws Janet Manno and Christine Manno; grandchildren, Joseph Manno, Lisa Manno, Julia Manno, Dylan Manno, Jennifer and Nicole Manno; his siblings Marie Johnston, Frank Santucci and Nato Santucci; nieces and nephews, Lisa Montagna, TG Santucci, Anton Santucci, Tony Santucci, Kelley Atwood, Rich Santucci, Tom Johnston, Ken Johnston, Sara Nicolosi, Emma Magee and Rosa Nicolosi; his friends Catherine "Cass" D'Alonzo and Robert Gaidosh. Along with his parents Thomas was predeceased by his wife Janet Gaidosh- Santucci; and his siblings George Santucci, Jules Santucci, Rosa Nicolosi and Emma Santucci. A church visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 9:45am to 10:45am followed by a funeral mass at 11am from Divine Mercy Parish, 23 West Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery, 2400 Lancaster Avenue Wilmington, DE.
