I met Paul when he was fresh out of high school around 1975. He was working at a foreign car repair facility and he worked on my Porsche. We shared an interest in sports cars and any interesting cars in general. Somehow we became very close friends, even though I was 15 years older than he was.
Paul taught me how to paint a car, wet sand the paint and rub it out to shine very brightly….we also shared a love of photography and we did a lot of wet darkroom work. We shot, developed and printed a lot of black and white pictures.
Even though Paul was Jewish, we shared many Christmas Eves together and we always exchanged presents….
I have more memories of time spent with Paul than I could ever include here.
Suffice to say that he was a highly cherished friend, and I am so sorry that I lost touch with him when my wife and I moved close to Somers Point. I had even planned to try to contact him and rejuvenate our friendship, when I saw a post on Facebook that told of Paul’s recent death.
I am so sorry that I didn’t try to reconnect with Paul sooner.
Rest in peace old friend…I will never forget you and the great times we spent together.

Marc and Adam,
I was truly shocked to learn of Paul's unexpected passing. I met your father first while working for Foster Porsche-Audi in Millville. When I started teaching at Vineland High School in 1974, Paul was in one of my classes. He was a smart and curious student, interested in many things. We shared a lot of interests and remained friendly until he passed.
He worked with me for months while I was restoring my sailboat. He was the brains behind all of the preparation prior to Awlgripping the hull. When I sold the boat many years later due to advancing age, it still looked absolutely beautiful.
He also did some paintwork on one of my Morgan sports cars. And most of all, he always gave me excellent advice whenever I needed it.
Paul was originally my student but, as time went by, he became my teacher. A complete reversal.
I shall remember him always.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will always have fond memories of Paul taking me for joy rides in his vintage cars and his motorcycle as a kid. May his memory be a blessing.
