Patty Kay was my very first girlfriend at the age of 5. We had countless sleep overs. We had such creative play as children and I credit her for all the happiness I had in childhood. She was a fearless warrior in al things- when her father had cancer she cared for him single handedly. She was completely moral and lived for her family 100 percent. Since she was 6 year old she would state that she wanted 3 children - that was a dream in her life that her amazing strong husband, Sam, helped her fulfill. She had three gorgeous children who she adored and poured her entire being into. May her bright smile and bright light be an example for all of us. Her bright light will always be alive in the center of my heart. I have not known finer person ever. I love you Patty; Andrea Ruggieri Tomasetti

Patty K and I worked together at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia when she managed the Surgical ICU. She was a great leader, with a positive attitude and a smile on her face. She was smart, compassionate and ethical, always did what was right for the patient and her team. We rented beach houses with friends for the summer months and spent many weekends together in Avalon. I remember the summer evening Patty and Sam came back to the house and announced they were engaged.she was beyond happy. I was honored to have been in her wedding. She made the most of the life God gave her, and ultimately got what she wanted most, a loving family. It was wonderful to have known you Patty K. Love, Carol

I will always be grateful that Patty treated me as another younger brother and lectured George and I on what dangers to avoid in the world. While I have not seen her in many years I can honestly say that I am lucky to have been affected by her caring wisdom. May her family find peace of mind during this difficult time acknowledging the world is a better place because of her.

I knew Patti years ago at OLGC School when her children were there and I was an aide in pre-school and then first grade. When I think of her I remember when she brought a chocolate chip banana bread cake for me and one for the teacher. It was so good that I
asked for the recipe and she told me it was a secret family recipe. Then a few days later she handed me a bag with two boxes of Jiffy
banana bread mix. She told me the secret recipe was that there was no secret. Just add a bag of chocolate chips. She laughed about it and any time I taste banana bread I remember her smile and her family secret.
I am so sorry for your family's loss.
Prayers and Peace

My deepest condolences to Patty’s family. I worked with Patty for many years at TCA and considered her to be a friend and incredible colleague. As outspoken individuals, we often found ourselves on the outs of the in-crowd, so she and I and several other colleagues, often found ourselves POW-wowing, going to lunch and catching up… We started calling ourselves “Island of the Misfit Toys” because we were all a bunch of hard-headed individuals… in connection to the Rudolph the Red Nised Reindeer claymation series… that said, there were many lunches, collaboration sessions and moments of venting… she was truly one of the good ones and gone much too soon! So many of the kids and staff loved her! Rest In Peace Patty.
