Obituary of Josephine Danna

Josephine Danna, 103, of Rosenhayn passed away peacefully on May 19, 2022 at the Eagleview Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Philadelphia in 1918 to Salvatore and Angelina LaRosa, and was also raised by Marco Musso. In tenth grade, she left school to help her mother with work. She was employed at the clothing factory in Vineland on Third Street near the railroad tracks. Josephine loved reading; she enjoyed visits from her nieces, nephews, family and friends, she always loved seeing them. She insisted that you would have something to eat and never wanted you to leave. Josephine had a special journal where she recorded all her visitors' accomplishments, both big and small. Although Josephine never learned to drive she always made it to her weekly hair appointments and getting her own groceries. She loved hanging her laundry out in her backyard on the clothesline often yelling across the yard for conversations with her brother and other close family, friends and neighbors. She is survived by brother, Sebastian Musso (Opal) and a bouquet of many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Danna and her two sisters, Angelina Grisafi of Philadelphia, PA and Dominica "Minnie" Toffanelli of Sacramento, CA.
