Jo Ann, I never met your father, but I heard you talk about him over the years. You were a very loving and devoted daughter during what I know we're some of the most challenging times for him in recent years. He looked forward to your phone call every day. What an amazing tour of duty he had during WW II at such a young age. It must have impacted him very deeply. Hats off to the memory of your father, part of the "greatest generation." With much love and sympathy, Jennifer

As a child and as an adult I always remember being greeted by Joe with his big, kind smile. He had a way of putting everyone at ease and I believe he lived his life with a deep spirit of service to others.

I came every summer to visit Great-Grandpa and we got to visit the fire truck when I was little and Grandpa would show me all of this hunting things. I will always remember his voice and his smile. I love you Grandpa!
