Obituary of Carmella Ferrucci

Carmella (Puzzo) Ferrucci, 84, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2007, at home. Born in Briar Hill Penn., she was a lifelong Landisville resident. In her earlier years, from 1941 to 1949 she worked as a floor person for Shapiro Clothing Company in Vineland. Carmella was active in her late husband's business and continued to the present handling payroll for her son's business. When her children were young, she was active in and serving as an officer in the Parent Teacher's Association. While her husband served on local counsel and as Mayor of Buena Boro she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the local Republican Club. She was a member of Queen of Angels Parish. For the past 20 years her pride and joy were her three grandchildren. Throughout her life, she enjoyed cooking and entertaining many guests at her home. Her finest skill was making people feel welcomed and loved.
