Obituary of Anthony Falasco

Anthony "Tony" Falasco returned to the Lord on Friday, March 7, 2008, at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Richland, NJ and spending most of his life in Vineland, NJ, moving to Margate in 2005. He was amemberof Blessed Ssacrament Church in Margate. Tony served his nation with homor during the Korean War. He saw duty in the South Pacific in 1954 in the Marshal Islands and the Island of Bikini with operation Castle , an Atomic Bomb test. Tony was a New Jersey State Licensed Master Plumber and the founder of Tony Falasco Plumbing and Heating. Later he became a licensed NJ State Plumbing Inspector and was the City of Vineland chief plumbing inspector form 1992 to 2005. He also served as plumbing inspector for the Townships of Deerfield, Upper Deerfield and Cedarville. Tony was a member of the State League of Master Plumbers. also a life member of the Vineland Master Plumbers Association and a life member of the New Jersey State Plumbing Inspectors Association., serving as president in 2003 and 2004. He was honored as the Plumbing Inspector of the Year 2000. He was also a member of the State of NJ Plumbing Sub Code Committee, and the Building Safety Commettee. Tony was a meber of the American Legion Post 0004 in Vineland and a life member of the National Association Of Atomic Veterans.
