Obituary of Pauline Armato

Pauline "Minnie" Armato, 94, of Richland passed away at home on June 19, 2012. She was born in Mount Carmel, Pa. to the late John & Amelia Bridi. Pauline moved to Vineland as a very young girl with her family and attended the Vineland School System. She was employed as a glass worker for Owen-Illinois Kimble Glass Division in Vineland; and also worked as a seamstress for DeRossi & Sons Clothing Co. in Vineland. Pauline retired as a seamstress in 1985 from Dar-Jo Manufacturers in Richland. Pauline was a member of the St. Rita Society, and the Senior Social Club in Buena. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and cooking but mostly enjoyed taking care and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Janet & Gerald Marandino; son & daughter-in-law, John & Marie Armato; daughter & son-in-law, Joanne & Theodore Chupein; grandsons & wives, Derek & Tracy Armato and Jared & Jennifer Marandino; granddaughter & husband, Lauren (Armato) & Brad Ritenour; grandson, Theo Chupein; three great-grandchildren, Aja Armato, Peyton Marandino & Abigail Armato; brother, Joseph DiDomenico: her sisters, Rose Tartamosa; Mary D'Ottavio, and Gloria Levari; brother-in-law, Jerry Liguori; numerous nieces & nephews & cousins and her caregiver, Zoya Batrynchuk; Pauline is predeceased by her husband Sylvester "Lester" Armato in 1977; daughter, Phyllis Ann; and sisters, Edith Testa, Mary Reed, Rita DePalma & Rose Mastrangelo. A Church Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 9am to 11am followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am from Saint Padre Pio Parish - Church Of Our Lady Of Pompeii, 4680 Dante Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Our Lady Of Pompeii Cemetery, Vineland.
