Obituary of Catherine Deola

Catherine "Katie" nee Bridi, Deola, 108, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 13, 2007, in Cape May Court House. Born in East Vineland in 1899 where she lived most of her life before moving to Avalon Manor. She grew up on her family farm. She married John Deola in 1921 and together they worked the family farm. She had been a member of the Holy Rosary Society at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Katie loved to travel, especially winters in Sabastian, Florida with her family She also enjoyed playing cards, trips to the casinos and cooking for her family. Katie loved children and was a favorite babysitter. Her good nature and positive attitude were an inspiration to all who knew her.
