I have many memories of Uncle Chet but the most lasting memories will be of how he was always there for his family. From the earliest I can remember Uncle Chet was always there for me and when my son was born he continued that tradition. I was honored to have him attend my wedding in Florida this past summer and I am greatful to have known him as a person and an uncle.

Uncle Chet was such a caring person and always made me laugh. I enjoyed visiting with him when he came down to Florida. There was never a dull moment. I remember visiting with Aunt Louise and Uncle Chet in Jersey when I was younger. I loved to visit them b/c they were so much fun and they let me eat all the candy I wanted. I think I got away with a lot of things when I was with them. It gives me comfort to know that Uncle Chet is with his soulmate now. One can only wish to have a bond with a spouse as he and Aunt Louise did. Uncle Chet - May you rest in peace and know that Ashley and I are thinking about you. Love you.

My Uncle "Cheddar"... 1964 Worlds Fair NY City... Chester, Louise, Marie, David, Connie, Kenny, Mary Ann, Geary & myself crammed into a borrowed old station wagon...Muffler falls off, we all get hysterical, Kenny yells out to the people on the streets of NY City "This is not our car....We borrowed it" Uncle Chester & David grabbed some wire on the street and fix the muffler and we are on the way to the fair. Unforgettable memories. Uncle Chester will always remain my in my heart as the most fun, generous man and a wonderful brother to my mother. We will miss you Unky.

Chester will always be remembered for his helpful nature with any event he was associated with. I will always remember, while working at a Queen of Angel's BBQ, his quote " No Beer, No Corn". It is something I will never forget. Chester you will be sadly missed, but we are glad we knew you. The Cigala Family

I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all who visited our families and paid tribute to a wonderful husband to my mother Louise, a great father to my brothers and I, terrific father-in-law to Elaine and Suzanne, grandfather to Scott, Matt and Jennifer, great grandfather to Sarah, Eladia, Zack, Sophia, Andrew and Adam Crowell. The tribute paid by the Minotola Fire Company and other surrounding fire communities was magnificent. My friend Tom C. said " Only Chester could have commanded that preformance" Special thanks to Jim Geraci and the staff at Rone's. Chester was the Man!!! Ken

Dave,Ken and Families. I am sorry to hear of your father's passing. I can remember his smile, first from my Little League days and then through out the years every time he greeted me. He was a great man and one of our civic leaders. I am sure you will remember his smile as well. Please accept my condolences. Joe Pustizzi, Jr.

There wasn't a day that past when I saw Chet, and he didn't have a contagious smile and amazing fire scene wisdom. He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prays are with his family.

Sorry that we cannot be there to share your grief. It's impossible to think of my life in Minotola without recalling the many hours and days with the Crowells -- scouts, fire co BBQs, New Year's Eves . . . Lots of fun and Chester and Louise were always great examples.

There are so many memories of Chester's involvement with the fire company and young people while I was growing up in Minotola. He was an energetic and successful role model for the young and an extraordinary example of volunteerism and service within the community. My sympathy to his family and friends!

I will miss my beloved uncle Chet. Eventhough we didn't live near one another, I always felt a special closeness with him for as long as I can remember. He always made me feel special and loved. I take consolation in knowing that he is with our aunt Louise. May they rest peacefully in eternity together.
