I loved Mr. Fisher! He always made me smile - as a kid growing up at the corner of State Street and Lee Drive and as an adult, when I would see him around town. I will remember him fondly. My condolences to all of the Fisher family.

Dear Susan and all of the many relatives of Bernie Fisher,
My memories of Bernie are many, from Anita's excitement by showing us the little dachshund he bought her when they were still dating, to my delights in ordering large cuts of prime beef from him at the market, to his wonderful sense of humor, and including his incredible devotion to Anita and all of you children. His delight in just being alive was infectious. I always knew I would feel wonderful, after visiting your home. He will be missed, I know. Yet having had Bernie in our lives was a treasure. I send my love to each and every one of you. Lois

Bernie Fisher gave many volunteer hours to Inspira Medical Center Vineland. He always had a smile and some humor to share. He will be greatly missed.

I was making a special effort to contact the family of Bernard to send my condolences, and to bring you some comfort from the scriptures which I found to be consoling with a wonderful hope for the future. Notice what it says in John 5:28, 29, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..." Also, Revelation 21:4 says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." So this is very encouraging what God promises for the future, and in God's appointed time we will see the reality. Please visit the jw.org website for answers to many Bible questions. Again, my condolences for your loss.
