To The Possumato Family.. I was sorry to hear of Nick's passing. I will never forget the time he took with me when I became a supervisor at VHS. His mentor-ship was so valuable to me along with some of the life experiences he related over various times. His sincerity and friendship will be forever remembered. Rest in peace Nick.

Dear Karin and Family,
We are so very sorry for such a sudden passing. Nick was always a dear and wonderful cousin whom we loved, even from so far away. We will miss him very much. We admire him as a consummate, intelligent educator in all parts of his life, and both of you as loving and devoted parents. We know you will hold up each other through the difficult days ahead and pray for peace and happy memories as your strength.
Much Love with Deep Sympathy,
Lucille and David Zane

Hi Karin
I want to extend my sincere condolences and prayers to you and your family regarding the passing of Nick. He was my colleague in the SJC-MOAA. I very much admired his way of doing things, very professional and very effective. He was a really nice person and we all hate to see those kind of people leave our lives.
Warm regards,
Dennis Reilly

To Karin and the rest of the Possumato family - my sincerest sympathy in the loss of Nick. He was a life-long friend from high school. He & I were cohorts in our Senior play (I was on trial-he was my lawyer). We welcomed Nick to our Reunion Committee and he was a great addition. He was never too busy to help. I will miss this friendly man til we meet again in a better place and again plan a class reunion.
God richly bless your family and be with you during this trying time.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Fondly, Joan

My sincere condolences to Karin and the entire Possumato family.
I knew Nick from afar but my association with him was always about "I grew Up in Vineland." Nick gave me articles about significant places in Vineland History, that I used in my Reader's View Articles in the Daily Journal, for which I am grateful.
I know he will be sorely missed by all who knew him--RIP, Nick

Nick Possumato, my friend and colleague. A man who gave so much to so many. A man who served his colleagues and his students. A man who you knew was always at your side through the good and the not so good times. A man who was a loving husband and father. How I enjoyed the times that we would just sit and talk and share ideas that made Vineland High School an outstanding school that served the needs of every student equally with compassion and understanding. We accomplished so much as a team, the four of us: Nick, Ed Harvard, Vince Martino..Thank you Nick for everything. To Karin, my deepest sympathy who I loved to be with and to the boys of which he was so very proud. Nick will be missed. Rest in peace my friend. We will meet again at another time and in a another place.

Our deepest condolence to the family. Those of us that had the privilege of getting to know Nick received his warm friendship, his great intellect and always mesmerized us with stories from a life lived to the fullest. We are going to miss his emails where he shared current events and thought provoking insights about the world around us. Your memories will live on and we are blessed to have been your friend and part of our extended family. May God bless you and your family.
