When I was born my parents chose Jerry to be my godfather. Even though the older I got and I moved to Colorado and the distance kept me apart I have always been greatful for the handful of people that helped me become who I am. Jerry was one of those people. When I was a kid Jerry took me fishing, crabbing, running with Father Lync and so many other places in that green Road Runner. He was never without a good story to tell and helped me out more times than I can remember. I would say I will miss him but I will never forget him. He was a huge part of my family on Chestnut Ave. Those times are my roots and my family. I always say one of the worst things about getting older is loosing your heroes and this one really hurts. I'll listen to some Sea Train and Cat Stevens for you and Jumping Judas Priest tell everyone up there I miss them too.
