Obituary of Henry Goldstein
Henry Goldstein, 95, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2017. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, and admired businessman. Born in Lublin, Poland, in 1922, he was 16 years old when the Nazi army invaded Poland. He and his brother were the only members of his family of twelve to survive the holocaust. He and his wife, Sarah immigrated to Israel after the war, where he served in the Israeli army and fought in the War of Independence in 1948. In 1956, he and his family immigrated to the United States. He was the owner, along with his brother, Solomon, of Palace Baking Company for over 40 years, before retiring to spend time with his family. He will be remembered for his integrity and his kind and loving relationship with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Sarah, his daughter, Ada Robinson and husband Arnald, son Seymour Goldstein and wife Patricia, son Jacob Michael Goldstein, grandsons, Ben, Matt, and Mark, as well as his great grandchildren Sadie and Samantha.
