Obituary of Angelo "Inky" Maurelli Jr.
Angelo Joseph "Inky" Maurelli of Sea Isle City and Minotola NJ, passed away on the 28th of July 2017.
He was born in 1936, to the late Angelo and Anne Maurelli and predeceased by his sister Jewel Cornell-Rich.
Inky attended Saint Johnsbury Academy in Vermont and Rider College, after which he returned home to work in the family business, Maurelli's Inc. in Minotola, NJ. Later in his career he worked at the Sands Casino in Atlantic City while residing in Sea Isle City.
He spent his spare time and retirement socializing at the shore with friends. He not only had a love of the shore, but had a passion for both boating and fishing. All of which he inherited from his father and passed down to his children.
Inky is survived by his three children Mona A. Maurelli, Stacy L. Maurelli, A. Leigh "Augie" Maurelli and wife Kristen (Hamilton) Maurelli, as well as, two grandsons Nicholas and Alexander Maurelli. Remaining family includes his sister and brother in-law Merle and Joe Ruf, niece Tara Clay (Ruf) and nephew Brian Ruf.
A funeral home visitation will be held at Rone Funeral Home in Vineland on Thursday, August 3rd at 11:30 am, followed by a graveside service at 1:00pm at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery (St. Mary Cemetery) E. Summer Road, Landisville, NJ.
Donations can be made in his name to Grace Hospice or the charity of your choice.
