It was with much regret and sorrow when I picked up the paper this morning and read that my dear friend and fellow IRS worker had passed away.
I don't know where to begin only with saying that Hartley and I grew up on Wood Street, together with his Brother Stanley. We were a band of brothers.
We were not only the best of friends but later in life we joined the IRS together and were working companions for 20 or so years.
We enjoyed our retirement lunches with the gang of fellow retirees where Hartley added much to the affair. I cannot say enough about the way he took care of his dear wife, Ruthie. They were a Happy and loving couple.
In closing, I want to express my deepest sympathy to the entire Tucker family. I know he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.RIP, Hartley.
