Obituary of Lorraine Ann Kraniotis

Lorraine Ann (Jakemer) Kraniotis, 70, of Vineland passed away on April 10, 2017 in Stuart, Florida. Lorraine was born in New York City to the late Michael and Margaret Jakemer on February 11, 1947. She attended Levitttown High School and graduated in 1965. She was employed by United States Rural Development as a loan technician for 26 years prior to retiring in 2011, She loved her job and worked very hard in her career with the government. She made a lot of friends along the way, some of whom she held very dearly. Lorraine loved to read, one of her favorite authors was Stephen King. She also loved to read about history. She could speak eloquently about many topics. She proudly instilled her love of reading in her oldest grandaughter Athena. Lorraine was an honest soul. Those who got to know her and understand her treasured her honesty, it was one of the many reasons she was loved by all. Lorraine and her husband Angelo recently purchased a home in Stuart Florida, where they loved spending time together.
