Wil and Kathy,
I was deeply saddened and shocked to hear of the passing of your beloved son and stepson, Andrew. It seems like only yesterday Joan and I were welcomed to South Jersey by he and Matthew playing on the front lawn. Although I had lost contact with him, it seems that he matured into a fine young man who was well-loved. I pray that the good Lord will comfort you and his family at this trying time and will grant Andrew eternal life in his heavenly kingdom.

I knew Andrew and roomed with him and 2 other people back in the early '90's. We were all bartender's at the Fireside. Andrew was a kind, big teddy bear. He was a true friend and was always there for anyone when needed. And I can't say enough about his infectious laugh!! Something I have never forgotten. I moved away and I truly regret not keeping in touch. I am so sorry for your loss.

I was making a special effort to contact the family of Andrew to send my condolences and to bring you some comfort from the scriptures which I found to be consoling with a wonderful hope for the future. Notice what it says in John 5:28, 29, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..." Also, Revelation 21:4 states, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." So this is very encouraging what God promises for the future, and in God's appointed time we will see the reality. Again, my condolences for your loss. I am so saddened by the passing of Andrew. It's been a long time since I've seen him and spoken with him but my memories of him are heartfelt. My prayers go out to his family and all classmates and friends.
