Obituary of Theresa Heim

Theresa Heim, 87, formerly of Northfield, passed away on September 14, 2016 in Vineland, N.J. Visitation and funeral services will be conducted at St. Padre Pio Roman Catholic Church in Vineland NJ. Visitation… Father Peter Saporito will officiate. Interment services are private. Arrangements are by Rone Funeral Home. Theresa was born in Yonkers, NY on January 8, 1929 to Helen Miller and Francis Drummond. As a young woman she worked for Bell Telephone in New York and met her future husband, Earl W. Heim at a USO dance. Earl and Theresa were married on December 20, 1944. After World War II, Earl went to work for Abbot's Dairies in Ocean City, NJ and Theresa became of homemaker for their growing family. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; her son John; and two grandchildren, Michael Heim and Michael W. Bergen. She is survived by her sons , Earl Heim and daughter-in-law, Joyce of Egg Harbor Township and Douglas Heim and daughter-in-law Joanne of Egg Harbor Township along with her daughters Jody Shelden and her husband Christopher of Northfield; and her daughter Nancy and her husband, Michael of Vineland. She is survived by seven grandchildren: Kristen (Heim) Donlan, Richard Heim, Jennifer (Heim) Guardino, Valerie (Heim) Quinn, John Bergen, Christopher Shelden and Theresa Shelden. Theresa also had eleven great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to the charity of your choice.
