Obituary of Edward Polini Sr.

Edward D. Polini Jr. 86 of Vineland passed away at his residence on July 9, 2016. Ed was born in Philadelphia to the late Edward D. and Mary E. (Willum) Polini Sr. before moving to Vineland where he remained a long time resident and attended Sacred Heart High School. Ed was employed in the Automobile Industry most of his life before his retirement. He enjoyed collecting various antiques, antique guns, glass, and jewelry. In younger years Ed enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting model airplane motors. He was a lifetime member of the NRA, and a social member of the Hickory Gun Club. The greatest joys in his life were spending time with his children and grandchildren. Ed would often be seen attending the Shrine of St. Padre Pio. in Landisville. He is survived by sons, Edward D. Polini III, Louis E. and his wife Lauren (Jaloway) Polini; grandchildren, Peyton L. and Julian L. Polini; sister, Marie Evangelista; and several nieces and nephews, along with his parents Ed was also predeceased by his sister, Jean McCaffery. A funeral home visitation will be held on Tuesday July 12, 2016 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ Committal prayers will be offered on Wednesday July 13, at 10:00 am in the Sacred Heart Cemetery Garden Mausoleum, 741 E Walnut Rd, Vineland.
