Obituary of Alfred B. Cervini

Alfred B. Cervini, 84, a life long resident of Vineland, passed away peacefully at Hahnemann University Hospital on August 1, 2011. Al served in the Navy on the USS Diamond Head. He retired from Sears Roebuck & Company after 38 years as the manager in the appliance department. Al was the past president of the Sears Retiree Club, past president of Vineland Midget Football League, Vice president of the Vineland Athletic Club, and he coached Babe Ruthl. Al was a member of the North Italy, Diamond Social Club and Recreation Club, He was a member of Hickory Hunting Club and St. Isidore's Church. Al enjoyed playing golf, going out to dinner and going to the casino's. he was an avid New York Yankees and Penn State fan. Al was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
