Obituary of Beatrice Hanuska

Beatrice (Stern) Hanuska, 90, of Vineland passed away peacefully on June 24, 2015 at home. Bea was born in June 1, 1925 in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada to the late Adolph and Jane Stern. She graduated from Vineland High School in 1942 and went on to get her teaching degree from Trenton State Teacher's College. Bea taught physical education for over 34 years at Vineland High School where she was the Department Head for Physical Education. She was an avid golfer at the Buena Vista Country Club, earning the club champioship in 1964. Bea played with the same bridge club for over 34 years and also won many basketball championships over the years. She was a member of Beth Isreal Congregation, Hebrew Womens Benevolent Society, NEA, NJEA and NJREA.
