Sincere condolences to Carmella and the entire Sparagna family from the Greater Vineland Baseball League.
Francis, by far, was one of the greatest players to have participated in our League. He was not only respected for his playing ability but for his knowledge of the game.
He always attended our Baseball reunions, sitting at a table reserved for him and the Ambrose Boys. He is certainly a worthy member of our Vineland Baseball Hall of Fame.
RIP, Francis, you will be sorely missed by all who knew you.

I was making a special effort to contact the family of Francis to send my condolences, and to bring you some comfort from the scriptures which I found to be consoling with a wonderful hope for the future. Notice what it says in John 5:28, 29, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..." Also Revelation 21:4 says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." So this is very encouraging what God promises for the future, and in God's appointed time we will see the reality. Again, my condolences for your loss.
